A warm welcome from Troop 112 — Carmel’s oldest Scouts BSA Troop and the first to welcome both boys and girls. Thanks for stopping by our website. We hope you’ll find the information here both useful and practical whether you’re interested in Scouting, camping, or just want to see what we do. We have lots of helpful hints for Scouts and plenty of pictures and stories from past camp outs, summer camps, and other Troop 112 activities. Check out the “Past Activities” link for pictures from the past.
We have a great section for Webelo’s and parents looking to join our Troop. Just jump to the “Webelos to Scout” page under The Basics. You are sure to find answers to most of your questions.
The Scouts of Troop 112 camp at least once a month during the school year, and the outdoor tradition continues over the summers months at summer camp and through high adventure trips to adventurous places that can include backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing, or whitewater rafting.
At Troop 112, Scouts are expected to live by the Scout Oath and the twelve points of the Scout Law. Our scouts will develop skills through rank advancement and are provided a safe, supportive environment in which to learn through a strong outdoor program, teamwork, and support from trained adult and youth leaders. Our goal is for each Scout to have the opportunities needed to have fun, develop into a self-confident leader, and become a good citizen in our community.
